Nebraska Baseball Sweeps Michigan State With 6-2 Victory

Break out the brooms! The Nebraska Baseball team (11-7, 3-0 Big Ten) completed their Big Ten opening sweep of the Michigan State Spartans with a 6-2 victory on Sunday afternoon. Reece Eddins had his best start of the season to earn the win.

Eddins allowed only a double to Bryce Kelley in the third inning. He would go on to not allow another Spartan to record a hit through his 5.0 innings of scoreless baseball.

The Huskers would get the offense going in the fourth inning. Colby Gomes led off the inning with a double. After Luke Roskam advanced Gomes to third with a fly out, Cam Chick platted Gomes with a single.
