Nebraska Baseball landed another big commitment on Wednesday as 2019 outfielder Drew Mackie committed to the program. He made the announcement on Twitter earlier in the day.
Mackie, who is from Missouri, is the 14th overall player in the state, and the second overall outfielder from the state per rankings from PerfectGame.org. It is also worth noting that he plays third base as well according to his profile. He was originally committed to Texas Tech.
This just adds to the solid string of commitments that the Nebraska Baseball program has been getting. Not only have they been getting commitments, they have been getting players that should be able to make an impact.
