Nebraska headed into “Championship Sunday” having dropped 3 of their last 4 final games of the weekend series. The Huskers had secured yet another conference series, having only lost the one at Rutgers, but hadn’t swept an opponent since the opening Big Ten series against Northwestern. Minnesota wouldn’t be an easy one to do it to either. Despite their conference record being what it is, they had only been swept once on the season.
