The Nebraska football team is one step closer to the 2025 season with its annual Fan Day, followed by its Big Red Preview on Saturday. And as a way to celebrate the near arrival of the season, the athletic department also announced earlier this week that fans who attend its preview event can purchase alcohol during the Big Red Preview.
The announcement is the next and near final step towards the program selling alcohol during games, which is brand new for this season after decades of resistance from bigwigs in and around the Cornhuskers.
