Country roads, Blue Ridge Mountains and all that other jazz John Denver was singing about are on the docket for the Nebraska women’s soccer team, as the Huskers head to West Virginia for the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
Nebraska will face No. 18 UCLA at 2 p.m. Friday in Morgantown with a chance to advance to the Sweet 16 against Ohio State, which the Huskers beat 3-0 in Columbus this season, or No. 1 West Virginia on Sunday.
For most of the Huskers, West Virginia will be a new experience, but for goalkeeper Aubrei Corder, it will be a homecoming of sorts.
