The NCAA approved new changes for the upcoming basketball season. The biggest being moving the three point line from it’s current position to over a foot farther out. This would be where the international three point line currently sits.
The exact distance would move the line from 20’9” out to 22’1-3/4” out. The NIT Tournament had this change done the previous two seasons and it will now be the rule for all sanctioned NCAA games.
The idea behind had been looked at for some time and there were a multitude of reason why they decided to change.
