Muhleisen joins Pavelka on Husker hoops radio broadcasts

Even with a change at the microphone, Nebraska men's basketball radio broadcasts will still have a familiar voice this winter.

Former Husker guard Jake Muhleisen will join Kent Pavelka on Husker hoops broadcasts this season as a color analyst.

The Lincoln native, who played at NU from 2001-05, has filled in on occasion the past few seasons as a color man. With Matt Davison moving into a full-time roll as associate athletic director for football last year, Muhleisen's substitute gig is now permanent. Davison worked alongside Pavelka for 15 years on Husker basketball broadcasts.

“I am very excited to be a part of the Husker radio broadcast team and work alongside Kent Pavelka for the upcoming 2018-2019 basketball season,” Muhleisen said in a news release.
