During Bill Moos’ Wednesday night appearance on the Husker Sports Nightly radio program, much of the attention focused on the Nebraska athletic director’s comments regarding rumors that cropped up earlier this week and also about his support for men’s basketball coach Tim Miles.
Moos, though, also had interesting comments about the facilities plans that might be in NU’s future and also his concerns about amateurism at the NCAA level in the future.
It’s not a big surprise that Moos is against the idea of paying players in college athletics – and two answers during a radio interview aren’t enough to give a comprehensive overview – but it makes for a good baseline.
