Men's basketball: Huskers blow past Lions 92-65

Junior guard Tai Webster and senior guard Benny Parker combined for 23 points, and Nebraska cruised to a 92-65 blowout of Southeastern Louisiana on Sunday night at Pinnacle Bank Arena.

Webster scored 13 points and Parker, playing in his 100th consecutive game, added 10. Webster and Parker had scored 20 points combined through Nebraska’s first three games.

Freshman guard Glynn Watson scored 14 points to lead Nebraska (3-1). The Huskers had no problem overcoming foul trouble for its leading scorer, Andrew White, a junior guard who entered the game averaging 18.7 points.

White picked up two early fouls, and aside from one turnover, contributed nothing statistically until he scored with 8:55 remaining in the first half.
