Malebana Runs Sub-Four Mile

Senior Dais Malebana clocked the second-fastest mile on a 200-meter track in school history with a run of 3:59.88 to finish runner-up at the Tyson Invitational on Saturday in Fayetteville, Ark.

Malebana becomes the fourth Husker all-time to run a sub-four mile, while moving to fifth in the Big Ten this season.

Mayson Conner won the high jump with a season-best clearance of 7-3 1/4 (2.22m). Conner remains the Big Ten leader and the new height moves him into a tie for fourth nationally on the year. Michael Hoffer cleared 6-9 (2.
