The biggest question that faces Nebraska in the next few weeks will be whether or not they will have a new quarterback starting for them in 2026. After quarterback Dylan Raiola went down with a leg injury more than halfway through the 2025 season, there has been a lot of speculation about whether or not he will stay in Lincoln.
Rumors have flown about Raiola intending to enter the transfer portal, but no official statement has been made by Raiola or those around him. Head coach Matt Rhule has been asked numerous times in press conferences about the status of Raiola's future at Nebraska, and time and time again, he has chosen not to comment on it.
