Janovich, Lewis make their push at NFL Combine

He might have been initially surprised by his NFL Combine opportunity, but Andy Janovich showed he belonged.

A day after the former Husker fullback put up 30 reps on the bench press, tying the most by any running back at the event in Indianapolis, he posted marks that should keep him on the minds of NFL personnel until the draft.

He ran the 40 in 4.81 seconds, had a 34-inch vertical leap, a 119-inch broad jump and ran the 3-cone drill in 7.28 seconds. His 20-yard shuttle was 4.32 and his 60-yard shuttle was 11.95. Just as importantly, he showed he could catch the ball, something he wasn't asked to do much at Nebraska.
