The pitching of Kaylan Jablonski and Cassie McClure helped the Nebraska softball team sweep South Dakota in a pair of exhibition games Sunday at Bowlin Stadium.
Jablonski, a junior, pitched a complete game in the first win, allowing just two hits after the second inning. McClure, a senior, threw five shutout innings.
Junior Gina Metzler had five hits and scored five times on the day, and Jablonski added four hits and three RBIs. The Huskers, who had 23 hits over the two games, also got homers from senior MJ Knighten and junior Austen Urness.
Nebraska will wrap up the fall season with the Big Red Fall Classic, which begins Friday at Bowlin Stadium.
