'I still think we’ve got another level': Cook hoping for more from Huskers in NCAA Tournament

The Nebraska volleyball team has had a really good season, with a 25-4 record and second-place finish in the Big Ten Conference standings.

The Huskers earned the No. 5 overall seed for the NCAA Tournament, which will begin for Nebraska on Friday when the Huskers play Ball State in a first round match in Lincoln.

Nebraska’s four losses – Wisconsin twice, Stanford and Purdue – each came against teams ranked in the top-15.

Nebraska’s best wins were against No. 7 Minnesota and No. 8 Penn State.

And as good as the season has been – especially when you consider Nebraska graduated two of its best players from last season in Mikaela Foecke and Kenzie Maloney – Nebraska coach John Cook thinks the Huskers can go to a higher level in the NCAA Tournament.
