Cedar City, Utah -- The No. 15 Nebraska women's gymnastics team (1-1, 0-0 Big Ten) defeated the Southern Utah Thunderbirds (0-1, 0-0 MRGC) at the America First Event Center in Cedar City, Utah. The Huskers won the meet by a score of 196.375-195.275.
The Huskers set or tied 14 career-high scores during the meet. Senior Taylor Houchin won the vault title with a score of 9.975 and a share of the bars title with freshman Clara Colombo with a score of 9.875. Senior Sierra Hassel won the beam title with a score of 9.
