Lincoln, Neb. - The Nebraska women's tennis team (7-4, 0-0 Big Ten) swept the Omaha Mavericks (8-5, 1-1 Summit League) 7-0 Wednesday evening at the Dillon Tennis Center.
The Huskers started off with a bang in doubles competition, with the No. 1 team of Isabel Adrover Gallego and Chloe Kuckelman taking the win over Omaha's Ines Absisan and Alexia Di Giulio, 6-4. Falling short to the Mavericks on court two was Ellie Kuckelman and Maja Makoric to Natile Lorentz and Keegan VanPelt, 3-6.
