Even with being run-ruled on Saturday, the Nebraska Cornhuskers still had a successful weekend in Seattle taking two of three from Washington, a solid Quad 1 opponent, and brought their record against such teams to 12-10. They hit well against a very good pitching staff and kept their composure against a very loud Washington crowd.
This weekend, they face a hapless Maryland Terrapins squad (3-16 in the Big 10) and, if they keep their focus, will likely make it a miserable trip with their .352 team batting average and .431 on-base% going up against a Terps staff with an ERA of 5.
