The Big 10 tournament is here , so it’s time to pack a bag and head for West Lafayette, Indiana, and Purdue’s Bissinger Field to see if the #19 Nebraska Cornhuskers can join an upset parade which began last weekend.
If things play out as expected - and they seldom do in post-season play - the Huskers road to a potential Big 10 title will require some 4-wheel drive as the difficulty level will quickly rise several levels above Maryland and just get tougher from there.
The likely opponent Thursday will be Iowa, who quickly became Nebraska’s hated rival across all sports after Nebraska joined the Big 10, and stole a Sunday contest from the Huskers in Iowa City to prevent a sweep.
