Huskers pick up second Top 100 golf recruit, as Gentry Scheve, Emporia, KS, ranked #42 in the country by Golfweek has signed a National Letter of Intent with Head Coach Mark Hankins and Nebraska Men's Golf.
"Gentry has put up some really low scores and continues to climb the rankings. We felt like he was a little overlooked and that his competitiveness, love of the game, and continuing development will forge out a great career at Nebraska. He is a strong and talented athlete with lots of tournament championships and high finishes and we expect him to look to be a contributing member in the line-up immediately here in Lincoln," said Coach Hankins.
