Lincoln – Nebraska rifle coach Rachel Martin announced the signing of Payton Fry (Arvada, Colo.) for the Husker rifle program for the 2021-22 season.
"I am very excited that Payton has decided to be a part of our team next year," Martin said. "She is a hard worker with a strong character that will enhance and align with our team values.
Fry has served as team captain at the Arvada Rifle and Pistol Club for two seasons, leading the program to the 2019 NRA 3P Air State competition. For her efforts, she was named the athlete of the year for the club in 2019.
