Lincoln - The Nebraska Bowling program announced Wednesday that Kathryn Bowman (Peru, N.Y.) has signed a National Letter-of-Intent to bowl for the Huskers beginning with the 2022-23 season.
Bowman was selected to the 2021 Dexter High School All-American team after averaging a 218 last season, and was the only on the 2021 squad. She has competed on the Peru High School team since she was in seventh grade, and has a career average of 201.8 in that time. Bowman has a high game of 299 and a high series of 764. Among many accomplishments, she was a top 16 finisher in 2019 Junior Gold, a 2021 DV8 Scholarship Shoot Out U18G champion, an NYS Pepsi top-4 qualifier from 2017-21 and a three-time USBC Junior Gold participant (2017, 2019, 2021).
