Huskers Score Six Runs in the Seventh, Top Wolf Pack

Lincoln, Neb. – The Nebraska baseball team (18-22) trailed Nevada 3-0 after the top of the fourth, but scored three runs in the bottom of the fourth and six runs in the seventh en route to a 9-5 win at Hawks Field on Thursday night.

Scott Schreiber and Jesse Wilkening, Nebraska’s first two hitters in the lineup, combined to go 5-for-10 to lead the Husker offense. Freshman Jaxon Hallmark also notched a multi-hit performance, going 2-for-4.

Junior Mike Waldron earned the win in 5.0 innings of relief, recording three strikeouts and allowed two runs. Reece Eddins went 2.
