Murray, Ky. – No. 8 Nebraska closed the weekend with another strong performance, downing NC State, 4,676-4,694, Sunday afternoon.
The Huskers, who improved to 4-2 on the season, posted their third straight score of at least 4,690 which will boost their hopes of reaching the NCAA qualifier next month.
Nebraska took four of the top six spots in the smallbore, outdistancing the Wolfpack, 2,329-2,315. Emily Cheramie and Elena Flake took the top two spots in the event with identical scores of 585. Cecelia Ossi (580) and Madelynn Erickson (579) rounded out the Huskers' scoring lineup in the event, while Kinga Aletto scored a 565 to finish 11th.
