Huskers Open Two-Match Road Trip with Victory

Clemson, S.C. – The Nebraska men's tennis team picked up its second win of the season with a 4-2 victory over South Alabama on Saturday afternoon in Clemson.

Saturday's action started with doubles play, as the Husker duo of Roni Hietaranta and Lars Johann dropped the first doubles match to Sébastien Collard anin the number two spot 4-6. The Huskers bounced back, though, winning the other two doubles matches.

In the number one spot, Nic Wiedenhorn and Shunya Maruyama picked up a big doubles win for the Big Red, defeating Maxime St-Hilaire and Jack Clements of South Alabama 6-4.
