Huskers hoops adds three 2019 recruits; two more open scholarships still in class

The Nebraska men's basketball team officially announced its three-man 2019 recruiting class Thursday, the second day of the early signing period.

Guards Jervay Green and Mika Adams-Woods, and forward Akol Arop, each signed their letters of intent this week.

The additions leave the Huskers with two open scholarships for 2019, giving NU the flexibility to potentially add a mid-year transfer or make more additions in the offseason.

Green may turn out to be the steal of the class. The sophomore at Western Nebraska Community College in Scottsbluff is averaging 27 points per game on 52 percent shooting with nearly five rebounds and five assists per game as of Nov.
