The Nebraska track and field team will hit the road for the first time this season and will split up for two separate meets. Most of the team will compete at the Gorilla Classic in Pittsburg, Kan., while the distance squad will run at the Iowa State Classic in Ames, Iowa.
Friday's events at the Gorilla Classic will start with field events at 2 p.m. and running competition beginning at 4 p.m. On Saturday, the Gorilla Classic will commence with track events at 10:30 a.m. and field events at Noon. Both days of the Iowa State Classic will start with competition on the track at Noon.
