Huskers Grinding Through Fall Camp

Lincoln, Neb.- The Nebraska football team wrapped up its fifth 2015 fall camp practice Tuesday night, as the Huskers practiced outside on the Ed and Joyanne Gass practice fields for just over two hours. NU was in full pads for the first time in camp, as the Huskers practiced in full contact.

Nebraska Head Coach Mike Riley mentioned it was nice to finally make it to full pads, as the Huskers used a good portion of practice scrimmaging in full contact.

“It is good to get through the progression of what they call acclimatization, I think it is a great idea and I frankly worry more on the days when you don’t have pads on than I do this day when you put full gear on,” Riley said.
