The Nebraska men's golf team continues the fall portion of their season Sept. 29-30 when they co-host the Prairie Club Invitational with South Dakota State at the Prairie Club Golf Course in Valentine, Neb.
The seven-team field features schools from seven different athletic conferences, including the SEC (Missouri), AAC (Central Florida), MAC (Northern Illinois), Sun Belt (South Alabama), Southland (Sam Houston State) and Missouri Valley (South Dakota State) in addition to Nebraska representing the Big Ten.
The Husker lineup will feature one new face this week as Tom Westenberger, a junior college transfer from Iowa Western Community College (IWCC), will get his first crack at Division I competition.
