Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. - Noor Ahmed and Vanessa Bouvet tied for fifth at the PGA WORKS Collegiate Individual Championship on Wednesday at TPC Sawgrass to become eligible for Symetra Tour MVP Invites into the Guardian Championship.
Bouvet, a junior from Brunei, posted a final-round 77 (+5) to move up one spot on the leader board into a tie with Ahmed in fifth place at 231. Ahmed, a senior from Folsom, Calif., who opened the the day in fifth, managed a final-round 79 (+7) to match Bouvet's 231. The Husker duo finished 10 strokes in front of Missouri's Keagan Dunn, who finished in seventh.
