Lincoln, Neb. - The Nebraska women's tennis team (8-5, 1-0 Big Ten) swept the Ohio State Buckeye (9-4, 1-0 Big Ten) 4-1 Sunday morning at the Dillon Tennis Center.
The Huskers fought hard in doubles competition, with the No. 1 team of Kristina Novak and Maja Makoric finishing in an unfinished match,3-5. Falling short to the Buckeyes on court one was Ellie Kuckelman and Samantha Alicea to Kolie Allen and Lucia Marzal, 2-6. In the No. 2 spot, Chloe Kuckelman and Isabel Adrover Gallego battled with Kathleen Jones and Isabelle Boulais, 3-6.
