The Huskers scored three runs on five hits, while TCU had eight runs on nine hits.
Starter Shay Schanaman allowed two runs on a hit and three walks in 1.1 innings to fall to 0-2 on the season. Schanaman had his second consecutive outing to begin the year with four strikeouts.
