The roller coaster of Big Ten play continued Thursday for the Nebraska soccer team.
The Huskers traveled to Madison, Wisconsin, to face off with the Badgers in a pivotal match for conference seeding. The Huskers struck first but Wisconsin tied the game in the 84th minute before the teams played two scoreless overtime periods to draw 1-1.
Haley Hanson scored the Huskers' lone goal midway through the second half off a corner kick. Sydney Miramontez recorded her team-leading seventh assist of the season on the corner kick that found Hanson’s head and went into the back of the net.
