Piscataway, N.J. - The Nebraska women's tennis team (11-8, 4-3 Big Ten) defeated the Rutgers (5-12, 0-6 Big Ten) 4-0 Saturday morning at the Rutgers Tennis Complex.
The Huskers started off strong in doubles competition. In the No. 3 spot, Ellie Kuckelman and Samantha Alicea took the match over the Rutgers, 6-3. Also defeating the Scarlet Knights on Court One was Kristina Novak and Maja Makoric, 6-3. In the No. 2 spot, Chloe Kuckelman and Isabel Adrover Gallego's 4-5 battle against Jackie Lopez and Krsitiana Zahare resulted in an unfinished match.
