Huskers Defeat Hawkeyes At Home, 4-3

Lincoln, Neb. -- The Nebraska men's tennis team (1-11, 1-11 Big Ten) got its first win of the season at home to the Iowa Hawkeyes (4-10, 4-8 Big Ten), 4-3, on Sunday afternoon at the Dillon Tennis Center.

To start off the day, the Huskers struggled in the doubles competition with both pairs of Brandon Perez/Victor Moreno Lozano and Nic Wiedenhorn/William Gleason falling 1-6 in the No. 1 and No. 2 positions. With the Hawkeyes taking the doubles point, the No. 3 match between Albert Sprlak-Puk/Shunya Maruyama and Nikita Snezhko/Peter Alam was called at 3-3.
