The Nebraska women's basketball team celebrated the official close of its 2017-18 season with players and their families, coaches, staff members and invited guests at its annual awards banquet on Friday night at the Grand Manse in Lincoln.
With nearly 300 people in attendance at the Jasmine Room, Big Ten Coach-of-the-Year Amy Williams and her staff honored Nebraska's three seniors - Jasmine Cincore, Janay Morton and Emily Wood - while also handing out several special team awards throughout the evening.
Sophomore guard Hannah Whitish, a second-team All-Big Ten selection, earned Nebraska's Outstanding Offensive Player Award, while senior guard Jasmine Cincore was presented with the Outstanding Defensive Player Award.
