Memphis, Tenn. - The Nebraska Rifle team captured several awards at the annual Great American Rifle Conference awards banquet, held today in Memphis, Tenn., before the GARC Championships start tomorrow.
As a team, Nebraska was the third-place regular-season GARC finisher.
Individually, several Huskers earned a variety of awards. Senior captain Maddie Korthas was named Nebraska Scholar-Athlete. Emily Cheramie and Hana Musser earned All-GARC Honorable Mention in Smallbore. Elena Flake and Macey Way earned All-GARC Second Team in Air Rifle. Flake earned a spot on the All-GARC Combined Guns Second Team, while Cheramie was named All-GARC Combined Guns Honorable Mention.
