The Nebraska rifle team will welcome another talented new member to its ranks for the 2020-21 season. Madelynn Erickson comes to the Huskers from Sutter, Cal., and will look to make an immediate impact in her debut season.
Erickson brings an impressive shooting resume to Nebraska. She competed for Sutter Union High School under coach Allen Jaynes, where she was a 2019 Eley High School All-American. Erickson was the 2019 California State Champion in both standing air and 4-P indoor smallbore. She was a four-time competitor in the national Junior Olympics Championships and received sixth place in J2 and 26th overall in air rifle in 2019.
