Husker Wrestling: Here’s How Nebraska Performed at U20 and U23 Trials

Nebraska traveled to Geneva, Ohio to compete at the U20 and U23 World Team Trials this past weekend.

While no Huskers made a World Team, there were some encouraging performances throughout the tournament.

Freshman All-American Christopher Minto was registered at 79 kg in the U23 division but didn’t compete.

97 kg

A past U20 world medalist at this weight, McDanel’s first match came in the semifinal round of a five-man challenge bracket.
