Husker recruit watch, 10/11

Nebraska recruit Jaevon McQuitty (Columbia, Missouri) can play wide receiver very well. This we know.

On Friday, the four-star recruit was inserted on defense to slow down Jefferson City's passing attack. And it worked.

McQuitty made an interception at the end of the game to help Battle preserve a 40-33 victory.

"It reminded me a little of little league, just playing offense and defense," McQuitty told the Columbia Tribune. "It was just exciting."

McQuitty was his typical self on the side of the ball he plans to play at Nebraska. He caught touchdown passes of 28 and 73 yards.
