Lincoln, Neb. - The Nebraska football team practiced in full pads and helmets for just over two and a half hours Wednesday afternoon. The offense worked inside the Hawks Championship Center while the defense practiced inside the Cook Pavilion.
Offensive Coordinator Danny Langsdorf spoke to the media following practice to address the progress of the offense as it rolls through its second week of preparation for Indiana following the bye week. He explained that the extra week off was just what the Huskers needed to recuperate from a few injuries.
"This time of year, everyone is a little banged up, so you are just trying to make sure that the bye [week] was good for us to get some rehab and some rest.
