In need of some frontcourt size after the late-July transfer of Jordy Tshimanga, the Nebraska men's basketball team found its man Thursday.
Dedoch Chan, a 6-foot-8, 210-pound forward from Rochester, Minnesota, signed with the Huskers Thursday on the second day of an official visit to Lincoln.
A transfer from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, Chan will be an immediately eligible sophomore in 2018-19 and have three years of eligibility remaining.
"I'm very happy to add a player as productive as Dedoch has been at his junior college," Nebraska coach Tim Miles said in a news release.
