The Huskers opened the first 30 minutes of practice to the media as a team with four returning starters and five more letterwinners officially opened the 2018-19 season.
"These guys just work. They really, you don’t see a lot of variable in them in terms of, last year, you go on the road in the NIT and now we’re gonna show you," Nebraska coach Tim Miles said Monday. "It was like, you know, we know we didn’t make it, we’re gonna make it this year, we’re gonna keep working. They’ve got great habits that way. They show up every day, work their tails off and compete really hard.
