Virgilio comes to Nebraska after spending five seasons at St. John’s, most recently as a management analyst for the Red Storm basketball program for the past two seasons.
In his role at Nebraska, Virgilio will serve as the primary day-to-day administrator within the basketball office, coordinating team travel and serving as a liaison to administration, academics, HuskerVision, athletic communications, digital communications, marketing and life skills.
As management analyst at St. John's, Virgilio was in essence the program's analytics ace. He was responsible for devising and delivering strategies to improve basketball operations by using advanced knowledge of research methods, information management and quantitative methods to analyze all areas of the program.
