Husker baseball fighting losing battle against Mother Nature as schedule stays scrambled

As the Nebraska baseball team got ready for a recent practice, a few of the players were throwing around a football inside the Hawks Championship Center.

One of them grabbed it and bombed a punt — had to be more than 50 yards — that died perfectly inside the 5-yard line.

You get really good at those sorts of things when you can't practice outside.

The Huskers head to Baylor this weekend for a three-game series that was supposed to be played in Lincoln. NU was already to have played Omaha at Haymarket Park, and was scheduled to host North Dakota State on March 13.
