Former Nebraska women's basketball All-American Kelsey Griffin played a pair of outstanding games in her debut with the Australian National Team in pool play at the FIBA Asia Cup in Bangalore, India, July 23-24.
In her debut with the Opals on July 23, Griffin scored a game-high 15 points off the bench and added five rebounds to help Australia cruise to a 78-54 victory over Korea. Griffin hit 5-of-10 field goal attempts and knocked down 4-of-5 free throws while playing 18 minutes.
After a strong debut on Sunday, Griffin earned a start in Australia's second game of pool play on Monday in a 107-65 victory over the Philippines.
