Gleason Scores Ranked Win, but Huskers Fall to Pepperdine

LINCOLN -- Will Gleason scored a singles victory over the No. 69 player in the country, but it was not enough as the Nebraska men's tennis team came up short on Friday night, falling to the Pepperdine Waves by a final score of 1-6 at the Dillon Tennis Center on Friday night.

The match began with doubles play. At the No. 1 spot, the duo of Daniel de Jonge and Adrian Oetzbach topped Albert Sprlak-Puk and Andre Saleh, 6-2. At No. 2, Conrado Summaria and Tim Zeitvogel defeated William Gleason and Patrick Cacciatore 6-1 to secure the doubles point for the Waves.
