After a third consecutive 3rd-place finish in the Big 10 Softball Tournament, The Nebraska Cornhuskers headed back to Lincoln and received the news on Sunday they would be going southeast about 970 miles to the swampy lands of Baton Rouge, LA, home of the LSU Tigers.
I always thought my first sporting experience there would be in Tiger Stadium while checking off a bucket list game in The Swamp. Instead, it will take place in Tiger Park, the home of their softball team.
This makes for a packed 10 days or so of softball and travel, so let’s pop some info, call-outs and a few thoughts about that time frame, shall we?
