High school
My school: Aurora.
Position: Tight end.
This week: Aurora has a 5-2 record and is ranked sixth in Class B. Allen injured his knee playing basketball last summer and hasn’t been able to play yet this season. His recovery has gone well, and there is still a chance he could play this football season.
Career highlight play: “Probably the biggest memory I have would be the semifinal game last year at McCook, the touchdown at the end. That was my biggest highlight. There was probably two minutes left in the game and it was fourth-and-2 and we ran a little trick play and I caught it and scored (a 35-yard TD) to win.
