Greetings from Cuenca, Ecuador! This is my last full week in Ecuador before I cross into Peru by this time next week. I have been traveling together with my brother since Saturday and it’s been fun to explore different places together like South America’s largest outdoor market in Otavalo, the cable car (Teleferico) overlooking Quito and biking the famous Ruta de Las Cascadas near Baños.
I’ve had to adjust my habits a bit since our travel budgets are different. I have been eating out with him at local restaurants and markets instead of cooking every meal at the hostel.
