It is a big week for Nebraska baseball.
We found out this weekend that Rob Childress will be coming to Lincoln as the new Director of Player Development. Childress spent eight years as an assistant and associate coach with the Huskers before going to Texas A&M. As an Aggie, Childress even hired a young up-and-coming assistant coach some of you may know - Will Bolt.
It is also time for the major league baseball draft. The first round was held yesterday and while there were predictions that Spencer Schwellenbach may hear his name called, that did not happen.
